I am a computational biologist. My research takes computational approaches – machine learning and algorithm design – in studying the polyadenylation of pre-mRNAs, biological functions of non-coding genomes, Next Generation Sequencing, and molecular evolution. Additionally, I am a seasoned software developer. My lab develops open-source bioinformatics tools using Python and R in Linux/Unix platform. I teach introduction to bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, computational methods, and personal robotics lab. For more details, please visit my webpage: sites.lafayette.edu/hoe
